Insurance for your car
Are you familiar with the type of auto window film that protects the front end of your vehicle from road debris and caustic chemicals that can dull, scrape, scratch, scuff, ding, or chip your paint finish?
This kind of paint protection auto window film ensures that your car will hold its resale value because it will continue to look great, or at least the front end will, year after year. Wouldn’t you like that kind of insurance?
Auto window film might also actually save you money on your insurance, because if your car does not get scratched, dinged, or chipped, you will not have to put in to your insurance company for some expensive body work!
Here at Scottish Window Tinting, we have over a decade of experience installing various types of window films, including residential films, commercial films, and vehicle films. We currently offer three very different types of auto window film products.
The first is the one we have been discussing, the paint protection auto window film. This consists of a thin yet durable, self-healing sheet of urethane that is cut to the exact measurements of your car’s hood, fender, door, etc. Once applied, it is barely noticeable and you can still wash and polish your car as before. But it will provide a protective barrier between your car’s paint finish and any road debris, flying rocks, de-icers, sand, salt, or any other chemicals on the roads that can dull or destroy your car’s finish over time.
We also offer a UV blocking auto window film. This product blocks 99 percent of the sun’s UVA and UVB rays. As most Colorado citizens know, these are the rays of the sun that cause premature aging, wrinkling, ugly age spots, and even skin cancers. Many people are unaware that these UV rays are reaching their skin right through a normal glass window, or even a normal tinted glass window.
Last, but not least, we have a heat-blocking auto window film. This product is incredible in Colorado’s hot summers, where that strong high-altitude sunlight is beating down on your vehicle, turning it into a furnace. If you need to park outside, heat-blocking window film will dramatically lower the temperature of your car by blocking a certain percentage of heat gain from the sun. It is one of those brilliant and simple products that make you wonder why they didn’t come up with it sooner!
