The Future of Window Film in Colorado
This week Scottish Window Tinting learned from our friends at Vista about a new window film offering that will be coming to market soon under the EnerLogic Window Film Brand. Currently EnerLogic is primarily a commercial window film brand with moderate visual reflectivity and an emphasis on blocking radiant heat from entering your building.
The new window film under development will have a decreased visual reflectivity, a similar ability to block radiant heat, and a NEW ability to more completely insulate your windows during the winter. In Denver’s cold winters, this window film would be game changing. Not only would the summer cooling bills be significantly decreased, but the large winter heating bills that plague so many Colorado residence could be reduced.
Such reductions in both summer and winter energy bills could shrink the payback period on window film to less than a year and allow home and business owners to quickly and easily make significant energy efficiency upgrades.
