When we refer to window film, some consumers are unfamiliar with the terminology.  Rather they refer to our services as window tinting.   While not incorrect, this term infers that the windows will become darker or reflective after the “tinting” is applied.  This is not necessarily the case. Depending on your needs, window films can range from dark and/or reflective to being almost totally clear.

Window Tinting without the “tint”

Commercial window tinting have various applications that range from energy savings and UV fading protection, to blast protection, security, and even anti graffiti that make any visual tint in the shade of the window relatively unimportant. Residential window tinting however generally aspires to have as limited an impact as possible on the home. While reflective, darkening or other speciality films are very rarely used in residential window tinting, the great majority of the time, the window film we install is almost imperceptible once installed.
