Window Film reduced heat gain my wife and I have some beautiful south exposed windows in our house that we love, but they great windows also make our summers very warm. Scottish Window Tinting installed window film on 12 windows and significantly reduced our heat gain. They window film also (unexpectedly) reduced the glare in our kitchen, making it much more livable during those sunny hours.

Window film should be manditory!! Sorry if I sound like a tree hugger but I don’t understand why everyone doesn’t install window film. It costs next to nothing and saves about 50% on energy bills. I calculated about 18 months to pay for itself. I’ve got the guy from Scottish coming out to see 2 of my neighbors. If every home in the US did this maybe we actually could save the planet.

ps. sorry about the dog attempting to chew the demo piece of siding, I still think that would
make a great test on the durability of the siding. I can show you other items around the house
that I would think are just as durable, but did not come close to surviving the dog chew test.
